I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the professional way you sold my house at 2535 Avebury Avenue.
When my daughter engaged you to sell the house you told her the services you would provide and you performed those services under difficult circumstances in a most professional manner. Not only was the house sold but also, my daughter had sufficient study time to earn “A, A- and B+ grades” in her fourth year university examinations. Somehow, you showed the house to numerous potential buyers with minimum disruption to Lisa and Boomer, her Canadian Champion Doberman. In addition, despite my location, I was kept fully informed of the progress of the sale. Your suggested list price and the selling price were virtually the same; you gave me no verbal or nonverbal opposition to initially listing it at a higher price. In short, your confidence in providing me with the opportunity to engage another realtor if I was not satisfied with your performance was well placed; it never crossed my mind to consider engaging another realtor.
Nor did your service end with the sale of the house. I was impressed by the speed and attention to detail you displayed in emailing me the various documents requiring my signature, but most of all I was impressed by your willingness to engage a rug cleaner for me once the furniture was removed and I was back home in Fanny Bay.
To even consider comparing the professionalism of the realtor who sold me the house to yours, would be an insult to you.

I realize several months have passed since the sale of my home in Victoria, but I wanted to take the time to thank you for all the work you did.
As you may recall I was in Victoria for a short period of time to investigate the possibilities of getting into the housing market. I didn’t think it would be possible to purchase a house on my limited budget, never mind during the short amount of time I had available in Victoria. However, you not only found something I could afford, but found something I could rent out until I was ready to move to Victoria. I was sceptical, at first, I would be able to manage all the details, especially not having very many personal resources in Victoria and having to deal with the legalities of tenants. But you went above and beyond my expectations and looked after many details that would otherwise have caused the deal to fall through. The same standard of service was evident when it came time to sell the house. It can be a tenuous situation at times when you have to sell a house when it is occupied by tenants, but even that was handled with the utmost tact. Again, I was not in the province at the time of this transaction and I am very pleased in the manner in which you handled the situation.
It’s really unfortunate I was not able to move to Victoria at that time but I am still planning on doing so in the future. Hopefully you’ll be able to help me again.

Time flies! I’ve moved, I’ve holidayed in England, I’ve been in hospital for so-called minor surgery (don’t ever believe that), I am more or less recovered. Finally I have been able to finish unpacking and begin to appreciate my new condo apartment home.

My father-in-law, my wife and myself wanted to sell our two houses and buy a joint piece of property where we could all live. We were very concerned about this venture. Mr. Newton was very professional in the way he listened to our concerns and addressed them. He listed and sold our houses quickly. My father-in-laws house sold within three days.
